He completed his Master Degree and PhD from Nanjing University of Chinese Mediine, China (NUCM).

In addition, Dr. Lui specialises in treating problems associated with pain, including Autoimmune disease, lazy eye, stress, skin care, oculomotor nerve palsy, Bell's palsy, Myasthenia Gravis (MG), Pakison's disease (PD), gynecology and fertility (infertility) related conditions.

When Dr. Lui was 17 years old he had Nasopharyngeal and he was 20 years old when he had Leukemia (Acute myeloid leukemia,AML-M3). After finishing his treatment, he had severe asthma and was extremely weak. During the hot summer, he would need to wear a down jacket but would never break out in sweat. He learned from his doctor that the cure for his leukemia, comes from arsenic trioxide, which is highly poisonous, and was developed by a Chinese person based on the theory of Chinese medicine. Dr Lui therefore started to take an interest in Chinese Medicine and wanted to learn more. He was very fortunate as he got the opportunity to meet many famous tutors on his journey. He went on to obtain his masters and PhD degree from the Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NUCM).

During his early years of practice, Dr Lui would make many careless mistakes because he would apply his modern way of medical thinking to traditional Chinese philosophy, such as Yin and Yang, five elements theory (Wu Xing, 五行), etc. He began to realize that he needed to have a deep understanding of ancient Chinese philosophy, and with a lot of practice and advice from his renowned Chinese tutors - Prof. Liang Chun ZHU 朱良春 (Menghe Medicine 孟河醫派), Prof. Ke Ning ZHAO 趙可寧, Prof. Xue Ping ZHOU 周學平 and Prof. Can Ruo SHENG 盛燦若, they guided his understanding of Chinese medicine to greater depth, Dr. Lui made significant improvement in his practise as a TCM doctor. Since he moved to London in 2007, Dr Lui has built up a high success rate in his practice with many satisfied patients successfully treated by him.

Being a Native-born Chinese has provided Dr. Lui with a firm foundation to further study Classical Chinese. Studying of Classical Chinese, Chinese literature and culture helps a practitioner to narrow the cultural gap and better understand the deep core skills of Chinese Medicine that is crucial for effective treatment.

In London he has worked eleven years and is well known in the area. The clinic is a very friendly, children and families oriented mixed practice with a well-established patient base, very much at the heart of Fulham.

In addition, Dr. Lui previously lived in Japan where he also gained a qualification and professional recognition for his work there. Influenced by Japanese culture, Dr. Lui's style is to provide as gentle acupuncture as possible and the needles are imported specially from Japan to provide the best treatment.

The wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine keep humans alive in nature. People need nature. Nature is the antidote to our crazy city life. It balances our wellbeing and rekindles our spirit. Nature has the answers.
